Game Format
Three Stop Clock Periods 12-12-12 - Freshman Division, 12-12-15 - Varsity Division
Tag up off sides for Varsity Division only
No time outs except Championship games
No Ice Cut Except Championship Games
7 Goal & 10 Goal Advantage Mercy Rule will be in effect
Tournament finalists will be determined on a point system based on the following:
Period Win = 1 point Game Win = 2 points
Period Tie = ½ point Game Tie = 1 point
Period Loss = 0 points Game Loss = 0 points
Total Points per Game = 5
The top two teams in points will play in the Championship game. If two teams are tied, the following tie breakers will be used to break the tie to determine either
the home team for the Championship game or the #2 seed.
1st Tie Breaker - Head to Head
2nd Tie Breaker - Least Penalty Minutes
3rd Tie Breaker - Goals Against differential
4th Tie Breaker - Least Goals allowed
5th Tie breaker - Goals Scored
Freshmen level will consist of players 5th to 9th grade
9th graders can play both Freshmen and Varsity levels
Home teams will wear white jerseys
If the Championship game is tied after regulation, the teams will then play 4 minute overtimes without switching ends until a winner is determined.
The 1st overtime will be 5 on 5
The 2nd overtime will be 4 on 4
The 3rd overtime will be 3 on 3
