TIGER NEWS Golden Tigers Fall to Wolverines *********************** Freshman Come Up Short Against Elizabeth Forward 3/13/08 - With a depleted line up due to the beginning of Spring sports, the Freshman Golden Tigers bowed out in the 1st round losing 6-4 to Elizabeth Forward who fielded a team loaded with 9th grade players. The Junior Golden Tigers were more talented than their opponent but were not able to overcome the fatigue factor in the 3rd period created by a short bench. The Freshmen Golden Tigers more than proved they can compete with the top freshman programs in the PIHL and are to be congratulated on an outstanding inaugural season. Click here for complete game statistics. The Junior Golden Tigers ended the season with a 14-3-0 record and next year looks to be an even more promising 2008-09 campaign. *************************** |
